Sup /g/
What are the current /g/ approved and authorised monitors? I've been put of the tech game for a couple of years now, but I'm getting back into things now. Looking to upgrade my LG IPS' to something VESA compliant.
What is /g/ using these days?
I use an ASUS VX279N-W love it.
What is go to el cheapo monitor with 2560x1440? Pic related

QNIX QX2710, been using it for 3 years with no problems, overclocks to 120hz for me easy too
Bought another one a few weeks back and its just as good, doesn't OC as high (only to ~110hz) but the quality is as good and there's no dead pixels
If you're buying one make sure you get the DVI-D only model, there's others with HDMI inputs but they add a bit of input lag and can't be overclocked, the DVI-D only one is usually cheaper but most sellers only have the HDMI ones now

Also, if you can't find any DVI-D only ones try looking for X STAR DP2710 instead, it's just a rebrand of the old DVI-D only QNIX's, not sure if the X STAR ones have matte screens or not though

>>56979521
Oh yeah make sure you buy a good DVI-D cable to go with it too, the one it comes with is shite and wouldn't let me OC higher than 90hz, but once I bought a gold plated one I could reach 120hz easy

This monitor seems quite hard to find for someone in the UK like me. Is there anything similar that's more available, or should I pay shipping from the US or SK?
>>56979521
Whats the difference between 24 and 27 model?
>>56979617
Well I'm in the UK too so I guess you're in luck :^)
I used accessories-whole on ebay to buy it IIRC, ships from SK but arrived in less than a week, you won't really find any sellers shipping from the UK (sometimes they pop up but they usually charge a lot more)
Also got charged 35 quid customs on top of it, but it was still worth it imo.

Haven't used the 24, but I guess the size? 24 inch vs 27 inch, 24 probably has a better pixel density if its actually 1440p but I'd rather the larger 27 inch one

Here's the one I got from ebay, messaged the seller before buying it to make sure it was DVI only, you might want to do the same:

Highly recommend the Dell u2415. This thing is sexy as hell. Colors are beautiful, nice bezels, acceptable refresh rate.
They make higher resolution screens now but at the time their 16:10 models I'm a higher res were too expensive and fuck buying a 16:9 model

That monitor looks like it hurts to live
>>56979928
Square is objectively the best ratio
why are monitor stands so short
I have mine at max height and looking straight ahead is almost at the top of the screen

It's a carrot nose
What's a good 34" 1440p 21:9 monitor? Around the 34UM94 price range
I'm looking at a Dell U2715H. Worth it?
My brother has one. It's pretty nice but rather expensive at €450.
Doesn't logical increments have a guide on monitors? It'll be geared towards gaming though probably
