6P owner here, the battery was fucking amazing during the first month or so but the degradation is HORRIBLE. I used to go to bed with 30-40% left with heavy and now I'm lucky to make it half a day. On top of that, the Type-C input at least on my phone barely works anymore. I have to really jam in my cord for it charge, I got the warranty because I have shitty luck with smartphones so I'm going to return it.

It's almost always apps that are the problem.

Download greenify and use it to see which apps are running background services/daemons. That's usually the culprit of battery degradation that soon. Even widgets and apps you install but never use tend to run shit in the background.

I've had the phone for about a year, going from six to seven android, and no lag. The phone runs like butter, the screen is nice. Even in sunlight you can see the screen ok. The fingerprint sensor has aboslutely spoiled me. I love that its located on the back as well. The speakers sound nice.

The build of the phone, its thin, so it does feel fragile in the hand. I would get a case for it, google has plenty of good ones. I bought this one below for $10 though, so far its been good.
