Upgraded hardware on the rig with Windows 10 on SSD; after upgrade, Windows 10 became unverified. Anyone have a free spare key or something, or general advice? Thanks

I would advise you find an old computer with a Windows 7 key to activate 10. Yes this works (for now), your mother's computer should work fine. Or pay the $25 on eBay...

Yup, I use Arch on my laptop but it's W7 CD key works to activate a W10 install just fine.

You don't need a W7 key to upgrade to W10 and get a free key. W7 just has to think it's legitimate for that to work so Daz Loader works fine.
