What type of desks would the fine gents and gals of /g/ recommend? I have been searching for months, and what I'm seeing is that everything being sold just looks so cheap and ugly, or lacks the functionality of what a work/gaming station should have.

Ikea desks are basically fine, Their office grade desks are pretty tough and durable.

Of course you can do better, and find more attractive ones. But they are a tough minimum standard to beat for bang/buck.

Curved/L shaped desks are good, obviously, because you can store shit on them. What more do you want, as big as you need and not glass/going to break.
