back to your reddit hugbox triggered trilby
I encourage any of you who plan to shoot up your school to consider blowing up a nearby Comcast building instead.
it's pretty reasonable
I live in a household with netflix and 6 mobile devices and we rarely break 700gb
Stop hoarding anime
tfw 1gb/h comcast shit internet doesn't even get you past 720gb / mo. anyway
lel
>>56969860
I think limiting the 0.5% who abuse the fuck out of their bandwidth is reasonable. And I don't even live in a country with data limits.
>>56970456
>>56969928
You know, when you people say this shit, it makes me more and more paranoid.
Back when Comcast began skirting around implementing limited data caps, people lost their fucking minds over it. It was and still is egregious. Do people just roll over and take a buttfucking when their asshole stops bleeding?
I'm just lucky enough I live in an area where Comcast isn't my only option and that my other options do offer unlimited bandwidth.
>>56970507
Yeah I don't get >>56969928 's argument. I've used over 200GB of data in my main PC just these last 30 days, and that's not counting my streaming iPad and my phone and my Chromebook.
There's something genuinely wrong with you if you need more than 1TB each month.
1tb sounds ok now when you're barely breaking 700gb. But then you think of all the 4k streaming that's gonna start happening a few years down the line.
>>56971024
There are tons of uses for more than 1TB of data a month. I'm sorry you're too uneducated to know any of them, but your stupidity isn't a wrong doing on anyone else's part.
>>56971398
>tons
>less than 1% use 1TB
>95% of those who do use more than 1TB are probably data/media hoarders
They can pay extra.
>>56971573
In that case shouldn't Comcast be lowering your subscription costs as well?
Nope. They're just giving you less for the same cost. This is just a money grab. They'll earn millions per month if even 1% of the customer base goes over 1tb.
I live in one of their "test markets" and have had an enforced cap for somewhere around two years at least. Last year they gave the option of paying a flat $35 extra per month for unlimited so I've been doing that. It absolutely fucking sucks and they got me but it's better than paying the $80 extra I was from blowing past my cap every month and at least I can seed stuff again. Comcast sucks a fat one.

Thanks the Freedom and Obama.
>>56969860
yeah, I live with two other friends and we all play video games a lot online and stream a lot of HD shit and usually only cap out to like 800-900gb on the heavy months when I stream my own shit a lot and seed a lot. I'm still concerned though, because now I'm going to measure my own shit so when it does go over that we can figure out who is doing it.
It wouldn't really be a problem because I'd never actually go above like 1.1TB but since it's a flat fee after 1TB its pretty frustrating.
Basically pay $50 or be stressed out about shit that doesn't matter because centurylink is the only other provider and they're garbage at least over here.
The problem are retards like >>56969928
setting percieved situations where it is 'okay'. Like measure people, have them pay a bit more if they use more ok. But like don't make them pay $50 for 100gb of data that's retarded. I know some other countries are actually worse in that regard, but it's really backwards.
I actually had pretty much only good things to say about my blast pro service since I got it a few years ago but fuck man fuck comcast
I had to deal with a 300GB cap from Comcast at one time so you fuckers are lucky. I had to pay $30 for Unlimited (Which was now increased to $50)
I am okay with 1TB though, haven't peaked that.
>>56971024
There's something genuinely wrong with you if you support fucking data caps. Why are you even here?
>>56971912
I dropped Cuckcast when they first started talking about 300GB caps. Found a local ISP that serves a faster connection for cheaper and doesn't fuck with my bill on a monthly basis.
Free yourself from the cancer is my advice (unless you live in a monopoly area)
They never learn, do they?
TiB != TB
>>56969860
Can we fuck with them by saturating their networks in retaliation while the caps don't apply?
Idle network time is pushed to other users on a P2P setup.
