>can refuse updates
>can disable telemetry
>all the improved features of windows 10 without the botnet
Who /enterprise/ here? Homefags and Profags need not apply.
>>56966012
My school used Enterprise but it very broken so now we're moving to EDU.
>>56966012
Option for disabling telemetry doesn't mean anything.
>>56966025
it was*
Jesus christ I feel retarded damn
I was an Enterprise LTSB user until I learned some video games don't work on it. Upgraded to Pro
>>56966093
All my games work perfectly fine.
>>56966012
If you are concerned about security install Linux.
>>56966134
I tried Ubuntu and even Arch, none of them can run the software I need.
inb4 gaymes
>>56966134
>>56966131
+1. Enteprise LTSB N and no game issues whatsoever.
>>56966012
>can refuse updates
No, you only can with third-party shit
>>56966149
fuck off, kevin
>all the improved features of windows 10 without the botnet
>improved features
You had us there for a second then we saw that and knew you were full of shit.
>not buying education licence for 20 dollaridoos
>>56966012
>pretending running windows in the enterprise isn't a complete disaster
you aint enterprise son
>>56966032
Because MS spies on Enterprises, of course.
Also you know about all those lawsuits going on against MS because that? Like MS is going bankrupt for that idiotic spying.
Oh wait, it's not, because it's not true.

>can disable telemetry
>he thinks he can stop datamining by toggling a button in an OS designed for datamining
>all the improved features
...like the horrendous UI? okay
>>56966423
What is the point of the datamining when bing still shit.
I guess they can't handle that data aside advertising and (maybe) shady things.
>>56966440
>>56966422
Bad troll is bad. It's already been established you can't truly disable telemetry.
>>56967780
Does it bypass Windows Firewall though?
I use Education and I managed to disable everything I wanted.
https://blogs.windows.com/windowsexperience/2016/10/07/announcing-windows-10-insider-preview-build-14942-for-pc/#vzGZLbm1L3SQrByI.97
>We’ve heard the feedback that you like the control Active Hours provides over when your PC restarts for updates, however feel that that the default 12 hour range on PC is too limited. We want to accommodate various enterprise environments and schedules including those where employees have double shifts, so starting with Build 14942, we’ve changed this range for PCs on Pro, Enterprise, or Education editions to 18 hours.
>up to 18 hours
Thanks Microsof!
Best OS coming through

EDU masterrace here
>>56966012
I use edu version
>>56967857

>>56967857
the only person ITT that knows what's good.
>>56967857
I use windows 7 pro
any reason why i should get ultimate?
>>56967857
I use that version as well on everything and holy shit what a pain to get running now. I use a cracked rtm original iso from when the OS first came out and after filly updating the thing it takes a solid 45+ fucking gigs.
My legit sp1 professional iso is less than 20 fully patched
I run win10 edu on my main desktop courtesy of dreamspark
>>56967940
I believe ultimate allows up to 16gb ram and pro supports up to 8gb, or that could be vista, i forget.
>>56967940
i had downloaded original MS untouched image which was ultimate version.
Can someone explaine me why everyone is so mad about ms datamining them? Are you afraid MS will get hacked and your CC and other personal info gets leaked or are you afraid that MS will know what porno you search on the net?
>>56967984
Home Premium was limited to 16gb and Home Basic to 8gb.
>>56968039
why not both?
>>56968039
I mean you are already getting data mined by apple and or google to hell and back, getting data mined by MS as well wont change much now will it?
>>56966012
Enterprise 2015 LTSB N is the best Windows 10 edition. All others editions are trash.
>b-but I got my Windows 10 home upgrade for free
I got my Windows 10 Enterprise 2015 LTSB N for free as well, from The Piratebay.
>>56968262
>Because piratebay OS isnt botnet. Enjoy the pooinloo watching you 24/7
>>56967885
>>no botnet
Sure.
