IE6's "problem" wasn't that it was bad, it was that Microsoft didn't upgrade the browser in 6 years and let everybody and their mother's pet project browser surpass it in quality

In fact, IE6 was such a good browser at release that some webdevs wouldn't write their sites for anything else because "you should be using IE". So its more similar to Chrome in that regard
