Moto G4 Play, thats what I use in case I break my main phone.
Godly battery life, and an incredible price point.
Runs Android 6 without any problems and I haven't run into any performance issues.

You can get a Samsung Galaxy S4 in damn near mint condition for less than $150 off of fleabay.

Fantastic phone. SD Card slot, removable battery, quadcore, 2GB RAM, 13MP camera, 5" screen.

It also has an extremely active mod community behind it, so Cyangenmod and Xposed work flawlessly on it. Though, If you go the Cyangemod route, you won't be able to use Android Pay.
