If you got to 50 YT tabs without a problem you should consider that an achievement by Firefox. You'd be lucky to get past 20 on some newer versions than the pic related. 50 is or 40 or even 30 open with no hanging and no framedrops is a blessing.

I call bs on your implication that you use a significantly outdated version of FF. I can understand not liking Aurora, but the logo change happened 6 versions before that.

I'd recommend IceCat or FF ESR anyway if you want good performance. Also, install Session Manager so you can always save your tabs in case an unfortunate crash is coming. A restart button might also be a good idea, as well as a way to empty your caches or minimize memory usage.
