Bought a 3 pack of 32Gb drives a couple times this year already. Adata and Sandisk. They make great portable backups IMO. I also use the low profile Samsung and Sandisk drives for my vehicles too. Everything is tagged properly with art etc using MP3tag so it displays on my screen too. Good shit.
Bluetooth doesn't display my album art and shit in my cars for some reason. Anyone else have luck with that? Flash drives also mean less battery consumption anyways in the car. Win win.

Network storage isn't cloud you fuck, it's local

except then
>using a flash drive instead of network storage
isn't mutually exclusive. The word instead implies that it should be.
Network storage seems pointless at this point unless 1Tb or greater is needed anyways. Flash drives have supplanted external drives mostly at least in my usage scenarios in the last few years. Portable less space can be plugged into a TV/Car/PC/Tablet/Phone(OTG)/Consoles/STB's
