while it supposedly has a great camera, it lacks OIS
while i find the overall design asthetically pleasing, it has a huge, ugly bottom bezel and no front facing speakers
while it doesn't have a removable battery or SD card slot, it also has no waterproofing
while it has google assistant, its not much different then google now

Its like 70% of a flagship at 98% of the price, serious potential completely wasted.

OIS is moot when the sensor is big enough that you don't need to compensate for movement. My 5X does just fine even in low light conditions.

I will buy this just because i will get unlimited 4k video storage on google photos. Till now, it videos were limited to 1080p if you wanted unlimited storage.
my friend tried it in Sydney as he works for a carrier that the pixel is way faster than s7 and nexus 6p.
