Agreed it's the worst fucking browser to date. I've stuck with it until last year but I finally gave in, installed chrome. I regret nothing.

Runs fine on my machine, addons are great to have and it doesn't eat up as much memory as chrome. I have no idea how badly do you screw up to the point where firefox becomes unusable, it's by far the best browser I've used 'till now. The fact that it's open source is a huge plus, I can just carry it over and use it on any thinkable platform, it has excellent support. Firefox is hands down the best browser right now, the only one which comes close is Opera.
