Op3 is a great phone.

If you like custom roms (which you have to if you're still using a Nexus 4), then yeah. OP3 is a great choice.

If you just want a "flagship killer" midrange phone, go for the Axon 7. It's basically what the HTC 10 wishes it was but at a lower price.

Nexus 6P. It's great, but it tends to warp, so, if you like something small, the 5X is still pretty good, but both still have shittastic battery life.

By and large, the OP3 is great, too. Also, there's the LG V20, which is the only sane flagship left with removable battery and microSD.

It's pretty much a Nexus in terms of dev support.

If you want Android N immediately (which I wouldn't recommend right now as it destroyed the battery life on my 5X), then get a 5X or 6P. Otherwise, just wait until all the issues get ironed out and you get it on the OP3.
