How is the pen on this thing?

Not that I'd know, but I'm sure it sucks compared to a Cintiq. But since all I can compare it to is my cheap-ass Bamboo, it's great.

The Pro 3 and Surface 3 both have the same pen, said pen has a battery for the clicker part, and then a separate battery for the digitizer.

While that is retarded both are easily replaceable and the pen is quite good for note taking and art.

The clicker is just there to open OneNote, the actual pen part is powered by the AAAA battery.
Also, the Surface Pen 4 only uses a single AAAA battery to power everything. My battery lasts about 12 months with very regular use.
