I'm gonna get epic gaming 3440*1440 IPS, 100+ Hz and G-sync instead. Not even Tidus X can power a 4k display properly. Also UI scaling is fucked up unless you use OS X.

Have you guys ever used a 4k screen?

The only problem with 4k screens at the moment is a lot of applications are either scaled passively by the OS or have improper scaling. So it's kind of going to be a meme until developers get their shit together, and until 1080p is deprecated, a lot of small-time applications are just going to use passive scaling. Otherwise, the difference is noticeable, even on a 23 inches screen.

You don't always have to have the best and latest technology, guys. I think it's because of this presumption that you're making fun of 4k. But that's false. If you don't need 4k then don't use 4k. That's where it will end for at least a few good years before 4k becomes cheap and accessible. I bet the first OS that expects 4k by default is going to have an HD-compatible mode so even then, no big deal.
