When I click download on an image and minimize it and continue on while it's downloading, then when it finishes it says it failed to save the image, but when I got to check my images it's right there and saved just fine.

I know it seems fucking stupid to someone who may use 4chan primarily on a laptop or desktop, but the app is really fucking smooth. If flows, and makes the entire experience so much better. I often use the app rather than the website because of how natural simply hopping in threads reading, downloading pictures, and gliding out is. Plus, if I see a blatantly shitposty thread with a picture I like, I just tap the picture and download it, I don't have to fumble with loading the webpage

Takes some getting used to, but give it like 2 weeks and it becomes 2nd nature if you frequent the site.

The problem with clover's gallery is that it's sequential. Some asshat decides to post reaction memes in a porn thread and you have to scroll through it, potentially killing any boner you may have had. DC's gallery uses a grid and fits more thumbnails on screen for quicker access to the images that aren't crap

In my opinion, the interface is better.
In my experience, it's less buggy.

It also supports more than just 4chan, allows you to strip meta data, re-encode images to jpg or png, and strip the filename while shitposting. That stuff is just objectively better.

I don't know if clover has implemented any of that because I haven't used it in forever.
