is it worth picking one up now /g/ or should i wait 6-8 months for next gen cards to come out?
pic related btw
i want to run games with eye candy on @ ultrawide 2560 x 1080

>radeon
for $300 its not a bad buy
I doubt you will regret performance wise
if you feel like waiting and paying $500+ then you can wait for that 8-12GB RAM and for the move to 14nm
its a good deal but you need a proper power supply

Jesus, man. You know you could die before within this time, right? Or at least get involved in an accident that will make a potato for the rest of your life.
Get something cheap now, enjoy, then sell it 6-8 months later and THEN you buy the new generation thing.
Don't ever fall for the /wait/ meme.

yeah i get the whole "don't fall for the wait" thing, 2-3 months i think would be worth the wait but as far as i know HBM2 and 14nm isn't going to be announce till jan/feb at the earliest and even then probably have to wait 2-3 months for availability
