How did you learn to program /g/?
After taking countless free courses (No bootcamps I live in a shithole) I grasp the basic concepts of abstracting and algorithms but I feel as if I haven't learned to enough of the language. Is studying just syntax an understood step that no one seems to be covering?

I mean that like how do you go about learning the actual language instead of just using it to do things.

learn to write algorithms in regular language
learn psuedo-code
learn about if-then-else concept
learn about while and for concepts
Once you know that you should be able to easily learn most languages. I would say start with Python. Learning syntax is the easiest part.
