Should I buy a Lenovo Thinkpad T410?

I would definitely recommend, runs gentoo with no flaws, and it's still zippy in windows. Plus its just as indestructible as its IBM ancestors.

Only problem I've had with it has been replacing the cooling fan, which is easy to do on a t410

I got a T520, works great with GNU/Linux. Win10 took a massive shit on performance for me, I hope its fixable (Probably not).

If I had to make a complaint, its the monitor display. It has some weird blue shade/tint for it? I don't know, I feel like I have to replace it 768p

Thank you. I found one really cheap. It comes with a first gen i5, right? Can I upgrade the processor for a 2nd or a 3rd gen?

although as >>56653794 pointed out, the screens are TN, so I would highly recommend springing for the 900p screen to compensate for the not so great color reproduction
