Radio transmitter m80, pifm is what you need to get.

I installed debian minimal and generally use it to force myself to become more proficient in terminal.
But yeah, just check out pifm, its pretty quick to set up and I get a range of about 100-150m at best which is decent enough. For 99 cents it's pretty cool.

My pi2 is an emulation station in the living room. Its ok but i wish it would be more reliable with the games it supports, although i probably need to just pick my own emulators for it since it uses a dozen I've never even heard of. Just a heads up that picking your own will be better from the start.
