Hey guys, how can I make my internet connection icon display that there are no connections available while I'm connected?
I know that this falls under 'personal tech support' territory but I've already asked /wsr/ and my googlefu can't turn anything up.
Living with a crazy ex that refuses to believe that we're not together anymore. Poured water into my gaming rig the last time she saw that I was online.
you should first get your balls back from her m8
Install TempleOS. It will show that no connections are available when you in fact are connected with God.

I think you should be asking how to get away with murder instead of asking how to change your fucking icons.

>being this fucking beta
>install linux distro (this will work on mate de)
>connect to internet
>remove the network applet
>put disconnected icon
This must be your last solution of course, since it involves another os

he wants to show it's disconnected, not hiding it

also this.

install a virtual network adapter like TAP. leave it enabled but not connected. that will show a disconnected icon. now go into the settings for your real network adapter and set "Show network icon" to Off. Voila!
