We don't know yet. Dell just announced their Kaby Lake refresh for the XPS 13, which doesn't have an option for anything other than integrated graphics, but hasn't said anything about the XPS 15 refresh as far as I'm aware. My guess is they'll give it a gtx 1060 and mayyyybe an option for the gtx 1070 on a higher end model only because of the increased power efficiency.

because quad core kaby lakes are in q1 2017. they can't announce any shit right now. it will probably have i7 7700hq and gtx 1060. worth waiting.

I still think it might have an option for the 1070 because the 1070 doesn't consume much more power than the gtx 960. If they down clocked/under volted the 1070 by just a bit they could probably get it close to the power consumption and heat output of the 960m in the current gen XPS 15. The 1070 option would definitely be pricier and not the default option though.

1060 is 3x faster than the 960m.
Nvidia is no longer making mobile versions of their GPUs. Laptops will be using the exact same GPUs as desktops with the 1060, 1070 and 1080.

Yeah it will be interesting to see how they will handle the heat. Maybe they'll try the hinge-forward design like they did with previous 15" XPS designs and the new Alienware refresh.

The new Alienware 13 features the GTX 1060.

Integrated are enough for my laptop use, so I'll wait for the Kaby Lake refresh of the XPS 13.
A developer edition would be nice, but we'll have to wait a little more to see if they propose one again.

Well, that's dell numbers so it's obviously inflated, but between all the energy savings Intel has kept doing year after year and the battery capacity I wouldn't be surprised if it had a very good autonomy in real life situations.
