Windows 10 looks like something made in the 90's. Look at OP's picture, if win10 didn't have as much UI inconsistency as it does the windows would be indistinguishable from one another.

the irony.
Linux has always copied design trends from Microsoft, all the way to the earliest versions of GNOME which mimicked Windows 95.
>>56630988
Yes, "Linux" is only one product, with no customization/editing possible, made by only one developer with the scope of mimicking the Richmond company.
That is just right

microsoft has copied design trends from linux and other OSes, too
>>56631057
Okay, let me rephrase that. All desktop environment designers have copied Microsoft, or copied each other. However, the origins of the oldest DEs are deeply rooted in Microsoft design principles. This means that EVERY Linux DE is heavily based on the Microsoft/Apple school of visual design (which is shit). Yes, that's right, all of them. This includes the grotesque Longhorn-copycat that is KDE. I added "Apple" over there because lately they've started aping OS X as well.
You may now proceed with your biting sarcasm and no true scotsman fallacy.
