Why do you care if the government records your calls and profiles you?

Its not that I worry. I just believe that government should not be above common law. I.E If they can check my harddrive without warrant, I should be able to check their harddrives without warrant too.

Because we should have an unalienable right to life, liberty, and property. In the information age a lot of the property you possess is information.
I don't give a fuck if in the US the right to privacy is only in the "penumbras and emanations." In my opinion, information about myself should be considered my personal property, and in some states, you can use deadly force to defend your property.
