I've had a mixed bag with Asus (though no video cards) My monitor is Asus, runs perfectly fine, all my motherboards in desktops have been Asus , 2 of 3 which are dead because of old age and shit etc but that's normal. But then you get into a really shitty android tablet my mother has, the battery is pretty fucked, the touchscreen a bunch of times just doesn't wanna respond etc. It has a keyboard/mouse dock so you can still use it for simple shit but still it's such a piece of shit.

You see I had the opposite experience I had a EVGA GTX 670, pic related, before I got my Gigabyte 970 and the 670 was loud as fuck under load and got really hot as well, typically around 80C full load. Gigabyte maxes out at 60C. The Gigabyte card isn't quiet by any means but it's a lot better than the EVGA 670.

But I don't know, EVGA changed it's cooler designs since then so they might be better now.

I have an XFX R7 360, 50C idle but quiet. Around 65C on load.

I like it because it was cheap.
