I just noticed my idle temp shot up to around 47C. What gives?

Mine are at 55-58C idle at 29C ambient temperature. Don't sweat it

idle temp should be around room temperature give or take a few degrees.
unless you are AMD then they are magically 10 degrees cooler than ambient
