I'm new to /csg/, I'm from the PH.

I've once ordered a Gitup Git2 once on aliexpress. I received it more than 3 months after I paid for it (tracking in next post), and it works pretty well. I like using it.

I ordered a camera backback just now, I saw that Lowepro was recommended on the /csg/ wiki.
Paid $10.00 for AliExpress Premium Shipping (estimated 7-15 days). China Post was $5.00 in comparison (31-55 days). Was this a wise decision?

I just got some Xiaomi Capsule / Piston Air from GearBest.

They're comfortable but the sound quality is garbage compared to Rock Zircon, Piston 3 and KZ EDR2. The volume buttons are also audibly rattling, when just moving the cable. It's so bad quality, that I wouldn't be surprised if those were fakes ... but GearBest aren't selling fakes, right?

My problem was that serial and softmodem both use Conexant chips and there is no way to know if modem has the right one, other than sticking it in the USB and checking out the model number. Looks like some people from this seller actually got serial versions, I didn't. Serial modem works as tty, so it will work as long as tty will be supported.

The curved digitizer glass is really nice, but I don't see it standing up to a drop at all. The BV6000S has a flat digitizer panel that is very slightly recessed and protected by the phone's chassis. The 5000's glass sticks out like a bubble, and is the first thing that will hit the floor if it lands face down. Better hope this is actual Asahi memeglass and not a fake.
