currently have 2gb evga geforce gtx 660. looking at 4gb geforce gtx 960. why is this site reporting that they're practically the same?

enough. should i shell out more for a 970 or 980 and not get fucked or is the 960 actually fine

960 isn't much faster, the difference is small enough that I'd say spending money on such an upgrade is a very bad idea. If you can't afford something like a RX 470/480 or a GTX 1060 right now just save up. Those cards are like 2x as fast as a 960, almost at least.
