I've actually looked into making a laptop with a SoC and custom hardware, but I couldn't find a decent small-sized LVDS driver. And I can't be bothered to design one right now.

Also the whole project will end up costing quite a bit so it's not worth it. Maybe when I become wealthy enough I'll do it.

When you need to do actual work or play a decent vydia, x86 is the only way to go.

I would if it wad a meme. It's not. That's what ARM is mostly good for, I'm not saying it's shit - it can run angry birds just fine so that's something at least. However when people want to do real work (ie their job irl) they turn to a computer with an x86 processor. It's just how things are you know, ARM never gave a fuck about the desktop market and a bunch of nerds adding shitty half baked freetard programs to debian mobile won't change anything.
