Not really. These phones are getting recalled and samshit is going to do better quality control. However the bad publicity damage cannot be undone, many will now turn to other manufacturers for an Android phone.

Even the iPhone 7 is still plagued with the problems in pic related so it's not a viable option for a smartphone for most people.

I will agree this is humiliating but most people would take this over having your phone potentially blow up.

How this airline situation works out will decide if its the final nail in the coffin for a vast majority of note 7 owners. Samsung is playing it safe with this recall but they really fucked up big time

You do know normies call android a samsung phone, right? Also as if Security checks will bother to distinguish samsung models to give clearances. They can make recalls but they are dead now on the mobile phone market.
