I have a problem /g/entoomen, I bought a samsung galaxy pro tab 8.4 (sm-t320) 3 years ago and it's gathering dust.
I've tried looking on the internet and their doesn't seem to be much info on it, What can I do with it? Can I rice it up? Is
there a proper way to install BASH on this thing? Can any cool "pentesting" stuff be done with it?

If you can root it, you might be able to get a ROM with bash on it.
If by "pentesting" you're talking about Wi-Fi stuff, it's unlikely - you need special drivers for promiscuous mode.

You don't need to root to use bash.
Hell you don't even need bash to run shell scripts you can use adb.

Tablets are media consumption devices, with a small bit of productivity possible. You can:
-check your mail
-write short notes
or
-watch aneme
-play simple games
-read books
Genuine productive work is not outright impossible on a tablet, just very difficult.

you could install linux distros (even kali) on it, with "linux deploy" or something.
