Upgrading the absulote fuck out of a Mac pro 1,1 that i got for free

currently specs:
2x Xeon x5150 bi-core
8gb ddr2 fb-dimm
2.5tb via 4 drives
novideo 7300gt
osx 10.6.8

Once I'm done it'll have:
2x Xeon x5355 quad core
32gb ddr2 fb-dimm
r7 260x
240gb ssd, 4-8tb via various drives
osx 10.11.5(whatever the last version is), will identify as Mac pro 2,1

about $200 so far. $50 for 32gb, $50 for matched xeons, and 100 for r9 270x(which will go in my main rig and the 260x will go into Mac pro). Also will need more drives as I've only got 4tb of spare drives (3 & 1tb). Willprobably get pcie usb3 card and maybe a pcie ssd if I can find a deal on one.

Replaced the original SSD in my x230 with a Samsung PM871. It's not much faster but hopefully will be more reliable.

Well im currently gathering pieces and parts for a dual PC build for me and my wife to game on. The neat part is im building this into a computer desk...so the desk and the case are the same thing.
