i3 has virtualization. Run windows in a virtual machine. With a light linux windows will run better thinking it has all it needs and you can keep it off the web if you like and browse in linux. I pretty much think of linux as a server for windows with a browser that keeps windows from fucking with my machine. Plus you can clone the windows machine when you get it how you like it and if anything goes wrong you can delete and run the clone. Clone the clone etc.etc.
