Shitty Lenovo support aside, the battery life on this thing is nuts compared to the Y50.

Dunno about CoD, but GTA is RAM hungry enough that 8 GiB isn't enough, and it just so happens that 16 GiB is the next step up from 8 with matching RAM and dual or quad channel.
12 GiB would be enough, but this can't be achieved with matching RAM since triple channel isn't a thing anymore. So 16 GiB is the optimal choice.

If I live, there's always a chance of having good feels.
If I die there is zero chance of having good feels.
Easy choice to not kill self.

How much of a bottleneck am I going to get if I upgrade to a 3GB GTX 1060? I don't care about running every AAA title at 4K Ultra, I just want something that'll run games at a decent quality and framerate.
>>
>>56531772
It's pretty fucking historic how you are trying to "be better" by showing off your arch linux. On all computers (laptop, 2 raspis, NAS, 3 production servers including a fucking archlinux repo mirror) I have arch installed.

Being close-minded isn't better, you know.
Ans it is a problem with neofetch as it takes scaled resolution instead of native.

Neither is wrong, they're just using 2 different methods.

Your workspace is effectively the smaller one and actual pixel count is the higher one. Don't get your panties in a wad, dude!

That said, it's Just Working in Arch, even with a few different scaling methods being used. Maybe you should direct your hate elsewhere before I really teach you a lesson
