The mags only hold 7 rounds, and they're small so why not carry a second one? And the knife is just a tool, it's not for defense or anything

What kind of battery life does the UMPC get?

I liked my 50g, but the batteries malfunctioned and melted the case and fried the motherboard. I think it was probably the batteries' fault, but I was using the batteries it came with. The buttons are very tactile. I wish that the battery compartment was on the bottom like the ti89 though, it is very top heavy.

I got my ti89 for $3 from a thrift store a few years ago and it is still working great.

If you use most of the time the normal display the battery life is mediocre at best, but you can get some days of battery life if you use only the e-ink one, but that is not very practical thing to do. I use it mostly to have allways on dank wallpapers, read notifications at a glance, read ebooks and use it on direct sunlight and when I have low battery.
The concept is very cool but it's not quite there yet.
With that being said I would still buy the yotaphone 3 if they even release it.
