This unit was found in the wild.

It didn't cause a house fire because the user thought to run a benchmark after installing it, but shut the computer down immediately when the temperature spiked up outside the normal numbers.

The card vendor was Colorful, which is the second largest GPU card vendor in the world despite not having any presence in North America.

Don't new GPUs just throttle like a motherfucker when they reach a certain temperature?

I thought them reaching over 100°C was a thing of the past, even when removing the cooler completely (in which case they should throttle down to almost a halt).
