Even still, DDR3 doesn't have the same bandwidth. Its not a matter of having one or the other. Its both in varying proportions depending on the workload.
3600Mts with a first word latency of 8.3ns is an absurd amount of data being transferred with stupid low response time.

memory timings is not the same as latency it's the amount of clocks the memory will cycle before sending the data and in fact my DDR4 RAM has lower access time than DDR3

why? because of the higher clocks, it will need less time to achieve the same number of clocks resulting in better latency so for DDR4 to be slower than DDR3 it would have to have ridiculously higher timings than what they are
