Whats going on with 4chan lately? When I connect to the main

hiro is using an ad network that's been known to spread malware. Obviously it's for money. I don't know if he's aware of the malware or not. He can't be that dumb and it has been discussed hundreds of times over at /qa/.
Considering his past, he's doing it knowingly and just doesn't give a fuck.

I've definitely noticed that archived pages have some obnoxious javascript bullshit and pop-in ads, but I don't particularly want to blacklist the whole site because it's not like poor J-List is hurting anyone.

So would I. I'd keep the J-list ads to reduce the yearly costs, but I'd get rid of the current captcha because google. Tbh I'd shoulder heavy losses just to keep that whole 'bastion of free speech' stuff going.

I know Moot didn't like donations but if 4chan had a patreon equivalent it would break even overnight. I'm sure if Hiro did that the community would prefer it to shady ad networks and google captcha.
