There is absolutely nothing wrong with installing via a GUI.

The GUI itself is on the LiveCD (or whatever you're booting from). It has absolutely zero end effect on your installation. Theoretically you could install Gentoo or Slack from a GUI.

This kind of retarded fud is what encouraging newfaggotry to use *nix gets you, /g/.
