Get an aftermarket cooler. Stock intel on a 4790K is pushing the limits on the cooler. Throw on something like a Cryorig M9i or H7 and temps should be fine.

i had the same problem with my i5-4460 stock cooler. bought a 212 evo and when i took the stock cooler off i realized the thermal paste wans't making proper contact with the cpu.

change the thermal paste to something like arctic silver and you'll be fine
