I was playing games when my tv suddenly started doing this. I don't think it's the HDMI cable because it does it on every channel, even the ones not hooked to anything. The tv is a Hisense, only about 3 years old.

you can always open it up, locate the tcon board (between panel and mainboard) and try to find a replacement for it online (even if its a used one) or see if there are any offending discrete components, on it, that are causing the trouble (bulging/old/busted caps, burnt resistors, etc.)

Probably a bad capacitor or the ribbon cable that sends the signal to the lcd is broken or something
