g-sync as a protocol can go suck tiny taiwanese dick.

g-sync as the display scaler is actually pretty good. the so-called compressed panel writeout partially buffers the inbound frame before writing out all the rows to the panel at a higher rate, which can help mask pixel response time transitioning.

I don't know of any other setups that do this.
