If you are a fucking retard you might buy into their marketing. They are making octa and deca-core CPUs while even snapdragon has dialed down to making quad-cores at best. Mediatek Cpus has terrible single-threaded performance and that is what truly matters.

Helio x10 phones can be had for 160 aud, helio x20 phones can be had from 200 aud, snapdragon 820 phones start from 320.

This is all from a quick search on aliexpress, because I just checked jb hifi and the htc 10 with the SD820 is $999

I'm sure the htc has better camer and shit though to help justify the price difference.
