If you want a certain site it's OK, but if you try to do research you often don't find what you are looking for.

I thought the same, but I just did some comparisons and Bing often displays the same results as google, and even has a similar presentation.

I think one area google wins is really up-to-date stuff, like i could search '4chan down' and search by the last hour and it'll find posts about 4chan being down.

Because Yandex is superior in every single way. I tried to scroll 10 pages on both, Bing only found 8 (out of which 3 or 4 were relevant) meanwhile Yandex still found relevant results way past 10 pages.

THen it's shit if you can't type with other than latin characters.. Tried with latin, it finds like 5 more pages and somewhat more relevant. STill, 15 pages is noothing to brag about vs what Yandex finds.

I was never interested in Bing before that because I don't support MS. I tried their 'search challenge' and it really proved to me how much worse Bing is compared to Google.
