How does anonymous data mining actually work?

collecting meta data without identifiers. so no IP or other things that will tell the observer that this is you.

Start by being a chink.
>>
Same as any other JSON database

Ok what's step 2?

Hoo boy.
Even if you're "anonymous" on a site, your browser still reports a bunch of information on your computer. They can pull your OS, CPU, and a bunch of other shit, all in addition to your IP which can be pinpoint accurate to your door in a lot of cases.

Marketers can cross reference tons of data and form a profile for a probable you. Essentially a bunch of preferences and browsing behaviors that are likely to fall in line with yours based off of things like age, income level, political preference, etc. Once they start cross referencing enough of this data with information gained from page visits they can start to pinpoint specific users IE its no longer a guess that a certain IP is the "you" in their probability profile, they have you solidly finger printed.
They can take this information and further model it to predict what sites you're likely to visit in the future too. Even what times of the day you visit what, how long you're likely to stay on a webpage, Facebook even records where your mouse cursor is and how long it lingers there.

The data collection and analysis is so extensive that there realistically is no anonymous internet. Every major market analytics company sells and shares datas with others. Thats why you can visit a website somewhere and start seeing related ad content when you get home and check your facebook on a different machine. They have you finger printed across both of those devices even if you've never cross contaminated.

We are hardly anonymous.

> every user has an IP
> google knows your IP

> 4chan knows what threads you like to click on. "generals" are just clickbait profiling threads to generate ad revenue.

I browse in incognito, doesn't affect me

It's called "semi-structured data"

They collect statistics on object/concept relation materials.

It's the difference between Abstract Instructional and Concrete Representational.

The information goes in concrete, matched to an abstract for statistical analysis, and stored as an abstract.

They don't care about you specifically, they care about the general populations use of technology.

This is used to make money by fixing issues and analyzing trends.

Knowing what one specific person does isn't of any use to most people.

The NSA, Interpol, CIA and FBI all have other methods for collecting information.

I'm a law biding citizen and I have records with the NSA, FBI, etc... because people swatted me several times.

Guess what they didn't do? Ask microsoft or my internet provider for information. They didn't even bother asking to see my PC.

Well good night kiddo, and no more memes for now okay? thanks homie
