As someone who works at a computer store owned by chinks, it depends on the os. Windows 7 or higher, dont get less than 4gb of ram. Because of the cheapness of ram, 8 is preferable, but in no way required.

I would say 4gb with 120gb ssd and a pentium would be fine.(newer pentium. If you are getting old parts, i3 would be better)
