Protip: put a 5-6mm glass above, to protect it, and make a good cable management behind.

Thanks! I now feel extremely retarded, though. I looked over the instructions in the booklet and then on the seller's page again and realized I haven't yet tried switching it over to wired mode (FN + Tab). Started working wired under Linux Mint immediately with no issues. Will most likely work the same under Ubuntu, might not work as smoothly under other distros, though, so will still need to test that.

There is a Red led only one. The one I have is RGB and I have it set to cycle through all the colors in the background and also acts like an equalizer which reacts to my microphone and computer audio out. It's cool stuff. The red I mentioned in my first post was what people generally refer to the Cherry Key Switches. Sorry for the confusion.
