Why does /g/ hate iPhone so much? It gets similar battery life to Android products with a much larger battery, it has significantly better single core performance, and is much better optimised. Plus iPhone gets 5 years of updates, android only gets 2 years

>Why does /g/ hate iPhone so much?
Nobody actually does. iPhones are just overpriced. There is literally no bang for the buck when it comes to iPhones.
>It gets similar battery life to Android products with a much larger battery
That is simply not true. Ask any iPhone wall hugger how their battery is doing.
>it has significantly better single core performance
Single core? What is this, 1999?
>and is much better optimised
This one I will give you. Aside from fancy animations hiding loading times, the OS is very snappy. Unless you are dumb enough to update your OS after 2 years of owning a phone. Planned obsolescence at its finest.
>Plus iPhone gets 5 years of updates, android only gets 2 years
Refer to above. Good luck after 2 years, hombre.

Single core is still significant, more cores = more power

I have used both Android and iPhone and here are the problems I have seen with iPhones:
- User interface is pretty horrible, looks like it was designed for small children
- Very limited apps, locked down software
- Looks like a piece of feminine jewelery
- Doesn't play well with Windows and Google's ecosystem
- Overpriced

We don't. IPhone is the single greatest phone on the market
because /g/ is 70% poor, and 30% well off people that can't use mainstream phones because they desperatly want to feel special
