No, it's usually power+up. Power+down is usually just fastboot.

Build is all-plastic externally but it's rock solid and tight, feels nice in the hand. I can see this thing getting quite warm if you're trying to run Crysis, might poke around and see if I can beef up the heatsink. Should be absolutely fine for browsing, videos and stuff though. Ports and buttons are all solid.
Screen is good, blacks could be better at angles but eh, I'm fussy. Response time is fine. Touchscreen performs well.
Both OSs boot fine, droid is 4.4.4 and not obviously loaded with massive chinkery. It'll take me a while to get round to rooting & finding something more modern.

Nope, apparently you can use the X89 standard's toolkit or something (read about it on xda back like 2 months ago or something about it), but really Windows seems to work better. It's good for reading manga and watching older shows/movies that use 4:3 aspect ratio, I'll give it that, but for producitivity, it's not worth it imo.

The main issue for me is the standby that's abysmal with no way of fixing it, and the fact that the BNWIN or something SSD they use sucks balls. Like if you don't use one of those donotspy win10 toolkits to disable updates and stuff, the whole tab gets bogged down massively.

I did do a reset and it took 3hrs for the windows partition (it has a recovery partition, where I assume the windows image is stored, just compressed) to factory reset itself. My laptop with an HDD took like 15mins tops for that.

It comes with 0 bloat on the Windows side, but lots of bloat that can be uninstalled on the Android side.

Chuwi hi8 pro had a LOT of issues when it was released, the might have fixed them but I wouldn't risk it. I'd recommend teclast x89 kindow if you prefer 4:3 aspect ratio, or teclast x80 pro/power for better specs but 16:9 aspect ratio. If can stretch your budget then teclast x98 plus II is a good tablet for ~$140
