Should I switch to Dvorak? I have never used another keyboard layout before, so how difficult is it to use someone else's computer after switching?

what kind of bullshit layout is this?
Dude no don't switch to anything it doesn't matter
If you want something more ergonomic switch to one of those keyboards that have separate halves
No, there are no practical benefits to switching to a non-QWERTY/AZERTY layout.
Most of the "benefits" are gross exaggerations, and most of the disadvantages of the current layout are urban myths.
Add to that the fact that you're not a bloody typist or data enterer where speed actually matters. The average person spends way more time thinking about what they're about to type than the typing itself.
Also, you'll get flagged by the NSA for special monitoring for doing weird, hacker shit.

Well If I was able to type faster, I could program faster, and have more free time.

Third paragraph.
You spend much more time thinking about problems than typing.
>unless you're a code monkey, of course
60% of the Dvorak's benefit with 4 keys.
